Here are a collection of photos to prove that we are well under way chez Whitton.....the Turkey has been ordered (all 7kgs of it!), the first glass of mulled wine has been sampled, the tree is up, carols have been sung and even the pooch is getting into the festive spirit....
Now all that is left is: finish the present buying, put together the food shopping list, write and send the Christmas cards, post the parcels, make the teachers' gifts, wrap the presents.....hmmm, I feel the annual Christmas meltdown coming on! How ready are you for Christmas?

You're looking pretty ready for Christmas. Still got a bit to do here.
ReplyDeleteLook are deceptive...still feel like I have piles stacking up!
DeleteYou are certainly well ahead of me! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAh but I'm not, looks can be very deceptive!

ReplyDeleteThank you. You too :)
DeleteI'm not doing too bad but starting to panic a little!! Beautiful pics x
ReplyDeleteI feel ok and then the panic starts to rise again! Thanks x
DeleteAbout as ready as you! Every time I think I'm nearly there I remember another 100 things I haven't done :( It nearly kills me every year. Lovely photos though, especially the dog!

DeleteI am so in love with your tree, it's beautiful! And how bloody cute is your dog!? I'm in the same boat as you, I feel like I'm organised but the reality of it is I'm nowhere near finished. It's all part of the fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Misty. Rather proud of it myself this year! Kids have finally reached the age where they actually like it all symmetrical too!
DeleteYou aren't doing too badly but those other small details are quite important aren't they? Drink more mulled wine to avoid the meltdown, that's my advice!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I will take your medicinal advice :))
DeleteWe are as far from ready as it is possible to be!
ReplyDeleteWe have a 20 minute window Saturday morning in which to purchase the tree and 1 hour to dress it before our first Christmas visitors arrive.
And as for presents...
*drinks more mulled wine*
Oh dear, sympathy votes :( *joins in with mulled wine drinking*
DeleteOoooh your decs and tree are gorgeous! Am feeling both prepared and panic strickenly under prepared! *deep breaths*
ReplyDeleteDeep breaths are what gets me through :))
