This week's Oldies but Goodies theme is: Parenting
If you have a post older than 3 months which could do with an airing, here are the general guidelines:
1) Link up any posts (no limit) that fit within the general theme
2) Read and comment on as many other posts as you can
And if you feel so inclined, please share my shiny new badge either at the bottom of your post or anywhere on your blog (bearing in mind it took me an entire afternoon to work out how to construct it!)
Happy reading :)

I wasn't able to find anything for this week's link up! My past posts all seem to be a bit general! This link up is a great idea! :o).
ReplyDeleteI've looked again, but still couldn't find anything worthwhile!
DeleteAny suggestions for next week's theme? Open to suggestions.... x
DeleteFab idea, have just linked up x
ReplyDeleteThanks Misty - great post :)
DeleteThere you go, have posted a couple, both from 7 or 8 years ago. Road Rage - a typical journey to school (that is, kids have a punch up) and Where are Amnesty? The hell that is a family changing room at the swimming pool.
ReplyDeleteWow, you've been blogging for that long?! Will check them out. Thanks for linking again and I hope you get a few more readers :)
DeleteGreat idea for a link up! And HEY! I am you 100th follower! How exciting :D
ReplyDeleteSuper duper, I've been longing for my 100th follower all week - congralations *fanfare and streamers*. Thanks for linking :)
DeleteHello, without sounding like a cow, can I ask what I'm supposed to comment on on this post? You have made it a requirement for the linky and most people will do it to be courteous but there is not a lot to say expect thanks for hosting & I am not one for pointless comments. I think it is worth you poinitng out that your oldie but goodie post is linked in psoition one and it would be better for people to visit that and comment as there is some quality content in that, new reading, do you know what I mean? Rather than just a post with linky rules in it.
ReplyDeleteAlso talking of rules, I find they rarely work, the longest running linkys like Gallery, Listography & my #R2BC have minimal rules. The only one I find that gets away with having strict rules is SilentSunday.
Also it sounds as if tweeting is a requirement, is that so or are you just hoping people will do it?
Sorry if I sound down on you, I'm not at all. I think you are a super fab blogger & I'd love to see your linky flourish and as such just thought I'd give you some feedback. But as with eveything it is just my opinion and others may feel totally different so I will nto be offended in the least if you comepletely ignore me!
Mich x
Err, if I was to ignore advice from one of the most influential bloggers in blogger land, I would be pretty daft! Always open to suggestions, thanks so much for your feedback - have altered things a bit ;) xx
DeleteOoh, nice badge! I'm not sure I have anything that fits (my parenting is nothing to post about!) but will take a look...
ReplyDeleteAnything which fits into the theme will do....if you're a parent, you've got a post about your child - even if it's telling the world what a crap one you are (I've got plenty of those, believe me!)
DeleteOK, found one!
DeleteWhoops whoops.......just realised you had a theme if parenting.....I've given you one about my bad back. Xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWell it was funny and it did have an element of parenting in there! Hey, it doesn't matter at all, I'm not really bothered just thought I should focus in some vague manner - thanks for linking :)
DeleteThanks for linking up with us at welcome to the weekend hop , not really got a parenting post bit will check out next weeks theme. Have a lovely weekend...
ReplyDeleteThanks Claire. Always welcome to join in :)
